Welcome and Congratulations on deciding to take your first Bikram yoga class. Come with an open mind and heart.  Bikram yoga is much more than physical exercise.  The yoga will transform you like no other form of exercise and will help you both physically and mentally. 

Read the following to ensure that your first experience will be a great one:

Arrive at least 15 minutes early to register for your first class. This allows us to register you and give you an orientation. 

PLEASE BE ON TIME!  No late arrivals, the lobby door is locked once class begins.

All classes are 90 minutes long, no reservation necessary.  Plan to stay in the class te entire 90 minutes.

Wear

Light exercise clothing such as sport bra, tank top, shorts or swimsuit. Avoid long pants, long sleeve, cotton or other heavy t-shirts.

Do not eat

2 - 3 hours prior to class.

Bring

Bring two large towels, water, and yoga mat.  If you forget something, these items are available for sale/rental. Mat and towel are required.

Hydrate

Drink plenty of water throughout the day so that you're well hydrated before coming to class.

Don't be intimidated or nervous.  We were all new at one point.  In no time you'll feel right at home.  

Come back! Take your second class within 24 hours. Make up your mind to come back tomorrow!
